The service
Tale Trail is a reading practice app for families, currently in early access and provided free of charge. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn while the service matures. We will do our best to look after your data through any changes.
Your account
Accounts are held by parents or legal guardians, who are responsible for their household's use of the service, including their children's use. You agree to provide a valid email address and to keep access to your account secure. Children use Tale Trail only through profiles you create and supervise.
Acceptable use
Use Tale Trail for its intended purpose: reading practice within your own household. You must not attempt to access other households' data, disrupt the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
No warranty
Tale Trail is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. It is a reading practice aid, not a substitute for professional literacy assessment or teaching. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ending things
You can stop using Tale Trail at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. If we ever plan to shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice so you can export what matters to you.
